Dashboard and reports
The dashboard shows all your clients at a glance. Each client’s Reports page shows where that client stands, and lets you download a report to share.
The dashboard
- Getting started lists the first steps and ticks them off as you go.
- Your clients shows each client’s overall score, its laws, the controls ticked, its last activity, a bar for each module and volume, and its Next focus: the module you have started, or the next one in order.
- The calendar shows privacy dates and events.
What the scores mean
Scores measure progress, not legal compliance. A low score usually means controls have not been assessed yet, not that they have failed.
- Controls (the overall score): the share of the client’s controls marked as in place, averaged across all sixteen modules. Controls marked Not applicable are left out.
- Gap analysis: the score from the client’s DPDP gap analysis, where the sector has one.
- Data inventory: how many of the core fields are filled in for each processing activity.
Scores below 10% show one decimal place, so a little progress never shows as 0%. Modules are labelled Not started (0%), Just started (under 40%), In progress (40% to 69%) or On track (70% and above).
The Reports page
- Where you stand explains each score in one line.
- Data Privacy Readiness and Volume Breakdown show progress by module and volume.
- DPDP Gap Analysis shows the latest gap analysis, with links to update it.
- Assessment Progress by Law shows how far each law has been assessed.
- Recently completed lists the last controls ticked, and Not applicable controls lists those left out, with the reasons.
Downloading a report
Choose Download report on the Reports page. The report covers the scores, modules, laws, recent work and Not applicable controls, plus a summary of the client’s gap analysis, inventory, risks, DPIAs, breaches and requests. Open it in your browser and print it or save it as a PDF.
