Deadline reminders
vDPO emails you when a deadline in a client’s breach register or request log is close or has passed, so nothing is missed between visits.
When you get a reminder
- Breaches: when the detailed report to the Data Protection Board of India is due within 24 hours, and again if it becomes overdue.
- Requests and grievances: when one is due within 3 days, and again if it becomes overdue.
How reminders are sent
- Reminders are checked every hour.
- You get one email per client, listing what is new.
- Each reminder is sent once for each item and deadline, so you are not emailed about the same thing twice.
- The email goes to the address you sign in with, and links straight to the register.
Recording when the report was sent, or marking the request answered, stops further reminders. If reminders do not arrive, check your spam folder.
